Valhalla Project was chosen for November’s K7 Scriptlist showreel as a project highlight for fall 2024.
The K7 Scriptlists are monthly compilations that showcase the most interesting new shows across the world that have re-make or acquisition potential.
Described by K7 as “eye-catching” and “packed with compelling twists and ideas”, Valhalla Project is the only Finnish project on the showcase. Produced by Snapper Films, the English-dominant international thriller follows a renowned climate researcher uncovering a parallel universe tied to her father’s mysterious disappearance in Finnish Lapland 30 years ago.
As the review further highlights “anyone looking for ways to continue producing the sort of high concept cinematic science fiction shows that help to sell a platform, without burning through billions of dollars, would do well to take a closer look at Operation Valhalla”.
