The principal photography of Let My People Go! has started in Helsinki. The feature comedy, executive produced by Snapper Films, stars 4-time Goya Award winner Carmen Maura (Volver and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown by Pedro Almodóvar).
The film, produced by Cannes-vets Philippe Martin and Géraldine Michelot of Les Films Pelléas, takes place in France and Finland. First-time helmer Mikael Buch has co-written the script with Christoph Honoré, director of Cannes-competitioner Love Songs (2007).
Nicolas Maury, Jarkko Niemi, Kari Väänänen and Outi Mäenpää co-star.
