Vinski 2 premieres in February 2026 and brings a new chapter to the story that delighted audiences in Finland and in over 55 countries worldwide. The first official teaser, released today, shows a sneak peek into the film’s all-star cast and upcoming thrilling adventure.
Kuura Rossi, known for the first Vinski and the Invisibility Powder, returns to the lead role of the invisible hero. Other familiar faces from the first film include Pirjo Heikkilä and Martti Suosalo. The teaser also reveals new characters played by Finland’s A-list actors: Pihla Viitala (Deadwind), Jussi Vatanen (Fallen Leaves), Joonas Saartamo (Täydelliset vieraat), Mimosa Willamo (Aurora), and Ilkka Koivula (Kalevala: Kullervon tarina).
The film produced by Snapper Films Oy and directed by Juha Wuolijoki, who also directed the first Vinski. He once again brings a story to life that is full of heart, humor, and adventure, in addition to world-class production value.
Vinski 2 has already attracted global interest before its premiere. Earlier this fall, Juha Wuolijoki was invited to SCHLiNGEL Film Festival in Germany to talk about the upcoming film. SCHLiNGEL is an internationally acclaimed children and youth’s film festival where the first Vinski and the Invisibility Powder was also screened.
The first Vinski film was an international success. It was sold to over 55 countries and gained a theatrical audience of over 100 000 viewers in Finland, despite pandemic closures at the time.
