Family Film CHRISTMAS STORY has been acquired to Spain and Turkey. Flins & Piniculas picked up Spanish rights and will release the film theatrically Christmas 2008. R Films acquired rights for Turkey.
An English-language dub of the film is in the works in New York. Todd Thaler (Leon, Cop Land, Arthur et les Minimois) is casting.
Top-grossing Finnish film of 2007, Christmas Story is the feature debut by Juha Wuolijoki and recounts the unique and amazing journey of Santa Claus on his way to becoming the Santa that the world knows and loves.
Christmas Story was released theatrically in Finland in November 2007 by Sandrew Metronome, the Scandinavian distributor of the film. Canada-based Delphis Films Inc. handles world sales.
